An Evening Celebrating the Women Who Make a Difference

You do not need to know an honoree to attend. You simply need to believe that women who make a difference deserve to be celebrated.

Join women and men from across East Contra Costa County for an elegant evening of dinner, inspiration, and recognition as we honor four women standing in the gap: against human trafficking, for our children, for our unhoused neighbors, and for our children’s education. We will also celebrate a young woman just beginning her own journey of impact.

The Awards

From the Heart of Ceola J.

The four causes behind these awards (human trafficking, the protection of our children, our unhoused neighbors, and our children’s education) are the issues that matter most to me. I began serving, supporting, and advocating for this work in Oakland in 1999, and it remains at the heart of who I am.

I am honored to celebrate the women who are making an impact in the lives of those in our community in each of these areas. Women of Impact is a way for us as a community to say thank you, and to celebrate, appreciate, and recognize the women standing in the gap and making a difference in so many lives. It is also an invitation for our community to continue standing with them and showing its support.

— Ceola J.
