You are not disqualified by your past. You are not defined by your mistakes. And through God, your story still has purpose.
— Ceola J. GriffinA Story of Overcoming
Ceola J. Griffin's story did not begin in the spotlight—it began in survival. Like so many of the women she now serves, the early parts of her life were riddled with pain, uncertainty, and not knowing who she was. But because of the faithfulness of her grandmother, who constantly reminded her to have faith in God and began telling Ceola who she was when she was only eight years old, the painful experiences that could have derailed her did not. Her grandmother's prayers and reminders stirred Ceola's faith early in life, helping her trust God as best she knew how. These early moments anchored her faith and allowed her to discover that the trauma in her story was not a liability, but the ultimate revelation of her strength and purpose.
What Ceola once viewed as a story of pain, embarrassment, and shame gave birth to The Ceola J. Collective—an ecosystem of 12 brands built to serve women and communities at every level of life. From coaching and speaking, nonprofit work, writing, and publishing to skin care, media production, and more, each expression reflects what Ceola believes she has been entrusted with: an opportunity for empowerment in its truest form—hope no longer deferred, perspectives changed, self-sustainability, dreams and life visions realized, and faith restored.
"Saying yes to Father God and His purpose for your life is beautiful and servitude at its best. It's how legacies are built to last!"
— Ceola J. Griffin
As a speaker, Ceola's platforms have ranged from intimate women's gatherings to full conferences and church platforms. Through her Kingdom Coaching Program, she guides clients as they overcome identity challenges and build purpose-driven businesses. As a media producer, author, and entrepreneur, she continues to expand the reach of her signature message, "Your Past Does Not Destroy Your Destiny," which is woven into everything she does.
Ceola is the author of I Know It Was the Blood: A Story of Overcoming—a book she wrote to share her testimony transparently and one that has proven relatable to women across the country. Ceola is also part of a five-woman book collaboration, Stand Up!!!! And Walk Into It!!!!, in which each woman shares part of her faith journey.
Ceola is resolute in all she does, and her message remains consistent across every platform. Whether she is writing, speaking, coaching, or creating, the thread remains the same: Your Past Does Not Destroy Your Destiny.
"The Spirit of the Sovereign Lord is on me, because the Lord has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners,"
— Isaiah 61:1 (NIV)
What She Stands For
Every brand, message, and platform within The Collective is built on these four principles.
From Healing to Overcoming
Every woman deserves to be free from the bondage of her past. Ceola believes overcoming is not optional—it is the pathway to everything God has prepared. Every daughter of Father God deserves to live free from past pain and trauma.
Revelation 12:11 (NIV)Finding Your Identity
Before anyone can live out their purpose, they must know who they are. Purpose does not happen outside of the truth. Ceola helps women understand their identity in God first, then their purpose in God.
Ephesians 2:10 (NIV)Anchoring Your Faith
Faith is not a feeling—it is a decision. Every brand, message, and platform within The Collective is built on trust in God's Word and Ceola's faith in Him to lead her through every decision and every step.
Hebrews 11:6 (NIV)Living in Purpose
A person's purpose is not created by any individual—it is assigned by Father God, developed through obedience, released through faith and strategy, and moved forward in obedience through the Holy Spirit. Ceola's life and work prove that even pain has a purpose when surrendered to God.
Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV)
